The photography exhibition organized by METU Amateur Photography Society (AFT) on 18-22 December was canceled under the guise of “postponement”. According to the news in Evrensel, a manager from the group, while explaining the process, stated that all the photographs to be included in the last exhibition were checked and censored in advance, but that they had not encountered such a practice in previous exhibitions.

The community announced the censorship incident on their social media accounts and underlined that the exhibition would be held regardless.
