State Theaters censors the title of a play

The General Directorate of State Theaters changed the play staged under the title “Husband of My Wife” to “Marriage Comedy” after being targeted by HUDA PAR

The name of the play “My Wife’s Husband” staged by Diyarbakır State Theater at Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Cultural Center was changed to “Marriage Comedy” after HUDA PAR targeted it on social media and made a press statement in front of the cultural center before the play.

The play, written by Croatian author Miro Gavran, provides an amusing critique of men who are married to more than one woman. It has been performed in various locations worldwide under its original title, “Muž moje žene” (My Wife’s Husband).
