Indictment against Ergenç and Kocaoğlu

A public case has been filed against Halit Ergenç and Rıza Kocaoğlu, who were arrested as part of the Gezi Park investigation, and Ayşe Barım, their manager, on charges of “false testimony,” with a sentence of 2 to 4 years in prison.

Manager Ayşe Barım arrested

Barım, who was arrested as part of an investigation into allegations that she was one of the “planners” of the Gezi Park protests, is charged with “aiding an attempt to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey or prevent it from performing its duties.”
