Seydisehir Municipality bans Suavi concert

The concert scheduled for August 30 was canceled after a meeting between Ülkü Ocakları and the municipality

After the attempted attack on Suavi’s concert organized by the Istanbul Beykoz Municipality, which was targeted by the MHP Beykoz District Presidency on August 19, World Beykoz Residents’ Day, the concert scheduled for August 30 in Seydişehir Municipality was also canceled. The CHP municipality did not issue any statement regarding the concert’s cancellation. However, Akın Bozkurt, the head of Seydişehir Ülkü Ocakları, announced that the concert was canceled following discussions with Seydişehir Municipality. Suavi’s lawyer, Bişar Abdi Alınak, posted on his social media account, stating, “Suavi’s concert was unilaterally canceled by the CHP Seydişehir Municipality Mayor due to the lies and hatred that were attempted to be spread by the statements of MHP and AKP district executives.”
