Police raid on Kurdish Literary Association

The Kurdish Literary Association building was raided in Diyarbakır, and about 150 books and 1500 newspapers were seized


The police conducted a “pirate” raid on the premises of the Kurdish Literary Association (Komeleya Wêjekarên Kurd) in Diyarbakır’s Kayapınar district.

According to the Mezopotamya Agency, around 150 books and 1,500 newspaper issues were seized during a raid that was not communicated to the co-chairs or the management of the association.
