Koma Hevra members Zeynep Doğan, Gencay Morkoç, and Yusuf Keleş were detained by the police after a solidarity visit to the Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER) the day after their concert at Şeyh Said Square in Diyarbakır on September 29.
According to the Mezopotamya news agency, the group members were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate and reportedly detained because of the Kurdish songs they sang.
