The Idil Cultural Center in Istanbul and the Jîn Art Art House in Izmir were recently raided.
According to the Mezopotamya Agency, several members of the Grup Yorum, including Cem Dursun, Bergün Varan, Merve Kurt, Sevda Kurban, and Rıdvan Akbaş, were detained during the raid at the Idil Cultural Center located in the Şişli district of Istanbul.
In Izmir, the Jîn Art Art House in Konak also faced a police raid. Officers forcibly broke down the door of the art house, cut the security camera cables, and disabled them. They even drew a Turkish flag on the blackboard. During the search, many books, magazines, and computers were seized without any prior notification to the authorities.
