The play “Everyone Looks Like My Husband,” created by Temsili Sahne and intended for a free performance at Ekin College in Hatay on November 1, was banned by the Defne District Governorate just one hour before the show began. The authorities cited a “lack of documents” as the reason for the ban. Temsili Sahne issued a statement on their social media account, explaining that they informed the authorities that they could provide the necessary documentation, but did not receive a positive response. The play “Everyone Looks Like My Husband” follows the story of Ayten, a restroom attendant at a pavilion. Written by Alis Çalışkan and directed by Hakan Emre Ünal, the one-woman show features Pınar Güntürkün in the role of Ayten.
