The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) announced that the animation “Sosis Partisi: Gıdatopya” because the animation was against the “national and spiritual values of the society” and “general morality”, the broadcaster was ordered to remove the film from the catalog and fined at the upper limit.
RTÜK said in a statement that the movie was “complained about by citizens” and that the decision to impose the penalty was unanimous. “The depiction of immoral and distorted relationships in the production drew the reaction of all RTÜK members. As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to remove the on-demand media service provider organization with the ‘Prime Video’ logo and the title ‘Amazon Turkey Video Dijital Yayıncılık Anonim Şirketi’ from the catalog and to impose an administrative fine from the upper limit because it violated the provision ‘It cannot be contrary to the national and spiritual values of the society, general morality and the principle of family protection’ in the first paragraph (f) of the Article 8 of Law No. 6112.”
