{"id":65,"date":"2020-03-11T15:46:17","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T12:46:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/?p=65"},"modified":"2020-03-11T15:56:54","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T12:56:54","slug":"turkey-launched-legal-action-against-social-media-posts-on-idlib-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/index.php\/turkey-launched-legal-action-against-social-media-posts-on-idlib-strike\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey launched legal action against social media posts on Idlib strike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00d6mer Fatih Sayan, the Deputy Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure in Turkey, announced that legal action is being taken against the supposedly \u201cfake\u201d news spread through social media platforms about the 28 February airstrike on the Turkish Armed Forces in Idlib, Syria.<\/p>\n<p>In a post he shared via Twitter, Sayan said, \u201cThese are critical times for the life of our nation, we are devastated by the news we have been receiving.\u201d Sayan reminded that it is utterly important to watch out for fake news spreading through social media platforms and to only pay attention to official statements.<\/p>\n<p>Sayan said that the National Computer Emergency Response Center has launched investigations against the people who have shared posts and that their discoveries have been referred to the judicial authorities who are undertaking the necessary legal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Access to numerous social media platforms<a href=\"http:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/social-media-was-restricted-in-turkey-following-idlib-incident\/\"> was restricted<\/a> after 33 Turkish soldiers were killed in airstrikes in Syria\u2019s Idlib province.
