It is also stated that the author of the book, Selim \u00c7\u00fcr\u00fckkaya, and Doz Yay\u0131nlar\u0131 (Doz Publications) will also be sued.<\/p>\n<p>The novel, written by the brother of the peshmerga commander Said \u00c7\u00fcr\u00fckkaya, has been published on October 23, 2020. The novel tells about the history and culture of the region, along with the family&#8217;s three-generation past.<\/p>\n<p>The book <em>Dr. Said: Da\u011flar\u0131n Kilidini Kaybettik<\/em> (Dr. Said: We Lost the Lock of the Mountains)\u00a0written in Turkish is translated into Kurmanji and published in this language. In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerinaazad.co\/tr\/news\/life\/culture\/dr-saidin-yasam-hikayesi-daglarin-kilidini-kaybettik-romaniyla-olumsuzlesti\"><strong>interview<\/strong><\/a> held with him in October 2020, \u00c7\u00fcr\u00fckkaya stated that the English translation of the book was completed, the French translation was about to be completed, and Arabic and Sorani translations would be prepared following these. According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufkumuzhaber.com\/kurt-yayinevlerine-ait-109-kitap-yasaklandi-91064h.htm\"><strong>news<\/strong><\/a> published by the news website Ufkumuz; K\u00f6ro\u011flu Karaaslan, Editor-in-Chief of Doz Yay\u0131nlar\u0131 (Doz Publications) was fined a total of 40 thousand Turkish liras, 20 thousand each for the Kurmanji and Turkish editions of the book.<\/p>\n<p>109 different books of Kurdish publishing houses, including Aras, Avesta, and J&amp;J Publications, were banned or recalled from the market in the last four years.
