{"id":1430,"date":"2024-09-25T15:48:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T12:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/?p=1430"},"modified":"2025-03-04T15:53:46","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T12:53:46","slug":"raids-on-bookstores-and-language-associations-in-diyarbakir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/index.php\/raids-on-bookstores-and-language-associations-in-diyarbakir\/","title":{"rendered":"Raids on bookstores and language associations in Diyarbak\u0131r"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER), the Anka Language and Art Education Cooperative, and the Pay\u00eez P\u00eertuk bookstore were raided on the morning of September 24 as part of an investigation by the Diyarbak\u0131r Chief Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Mesopotamia Agency, 409 books, 144 magazines, several issues of the newspapers Yeni Ya\u015fam and Xweb\u00fbn, as well as letters from prison, were seized from the Pay\u00eez P\u00eertuk bookstore, despite there being no confiscation order for these items.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, Kurdish language education books, magazines, and computer hard drives were taken from the Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association and the Anka Language and Art Education Cooperative.
