{"id":1335,"date":"2024-07-01T16:00:21","date_gmt":"2024-07-01T13:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/?p=1335"},"modified":"2024-12-03T16:02:26","modified_gmt":"2024-12-03T13:02:26","slug":"musician-bengin-sentenced-to-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/index.php\/musician-bengin-sentenced-to-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"Musician Beng\u00een sentenced to prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kurdish musician Beng\u00een was sentenced to prison for singing Kurdish songs during the Newroz celebrations in the Diyadin district of A\u011fr\u0131 on March 25.<\/p>\n<p>According to the news in Yeni \u00d6zg\u00fcr Politika, the musician was sentenced to 1 year in prison for &#8220;making illegal organization propaganda&#8221; through his songs &#8220;Rojba\u015f&#8221;, &#8220;Mil\u00eetano&#8221; and &#8220;Serhildan Jiyane&#8221; in the first hearing of the case held in A\u011fr\u0131 on June 26.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that six lawsuits have been filed against him on similar grounds since 1997, Beng\u00een said in a statement regarding the new lawsuit, &#8220;All of the songs I have sung are songs published with banderoles from the Ministry of Culture. Many artists have also sung these songs, and they still do.
