{"id":1059,"date":"2022-10-17T18:19:51","date_gmt":"2022-10-17T15:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/?p=1059"},"modified":"2023-01-25T18:23:55","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T15:23:55","slug":"governors-ban-to-an-exhibition-in-mardin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susma24.com\/en\/index.php\/governors-ban-to-an-exhibition-in-mardin\/","title":{"rendered":"Governor&#8217;s Ban to an Exhibition in Mardin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The exhibition &#8216;Forgetting the Past Is A Glamorous Lie&#8217;, scheduled to open at the Surp Kevork Church in Mardin on Saturday, October 15, was banned by the governor&#8217;s office at the last moment.<\/p>\n<p>Curated by Deniz \u00d6zg\u00fcltekin, the exhibition, in \u00d6zg\u00fcltekin&#8217;s words, &#8220;takes a unifying approach while trying to explore the intersections of memory and peace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition featured works by Abdullah G\u00fcler, B\u00fc\u015fra \u00c7e\u011fil, E\u015fref Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m, Evrim Kavcar, Eyl\u00fcl Ers\u00f6z, Ferhat \u00d6zg\u00fcr, \u0130layda Bekdemir, Mehmet Sait Tun\u00e7, Nejbir Erkol and Zafer Ak\u015fit.
